As with quite a few of the short stories here, my main frustration is that there's never enough! Just as I'm beginning to really embrace your magnificent characters you kill them off, possibly literally. Still, I can't really complain about that, it's definitely cheating on the critiquing scale :) Beautiful and haunting and very memorable: it feels like you've tapped into something dark and primal and hidden at the core of who we are. I commend you on your vision and your execution, and I'll keep an eye out for more of your work. Thanks for sharing it.
