girls are like triangles
pointed, mean and angry
I’d be so flat if I -
were to quit on you
do something dumb maybe
need to be near you
sisters know us well, right

anticipate our moves
minor, cold lazy like
what I’m about to prove
crude    miscommuni cate
she’d just ease up on me!
feel this;  ok,  safe from who
my head hurts&your feet stink

have we got any beer
to forgive is local
meaning while the here, stabs
hard and pure color out
hurts me here so much now
girl is a rusty box
with rusty nails inside

please don’t, not yet: tears
gleaming like so many
unearned metals
always and always here
girls are like   ,   girls are alike
take a break, peel tired skin
swim unbaptized fiction

the land of cane and fear
the lake of hope and joy
