What do you do besides post at Xenith?

I get tangled in things- bits of yarn, fishing line, bolts of fabric that have become unwound, bird’s nests, tree branches, long grasses, weird love triangles, suicide pacts, assassination plots.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

If everything goes well, I’ll be dusting my china in a mansion in Texas.

Honestly, though, I’d be happy if I got to make things. Five years? Maybe icing cupcakes professionally. Or making things like bags and animals out of scraps of fabric found in dumpsters and attics and then marking them up ridiculously and selling them to gullible hipsters as “art.” (It’s not that I want to exploit people, it’s just, there’s so much opportunity.) I hope to have learned to play the accordion by then. That’s my five-year plan.

If you had to pick one color that you could no longer see, what would it be, and why?

All of them. I’d rather see in gray-scale than live in a world missing just one bit. Anyway, if you take away one, you wipe out all the secondary or tertiary (etc.) colors that rely on it. A world without purple isn’t just a world without purple, it’s a world without lavender or bluish-purple or maroon or brown, frankly. A world without brown! Can you even imagine?
