xenith's current issue

This is the third issue in the "Best of Xenith" series. The writing in this issue was taken exclusively from Xenith.net's message boards. The boards are where Xenith's most insane and argumentative readers hang out. In their moments of sanity, they manage to post some really great writing and this issue highlights the best. Writing here is taken from the Poetry, Stories, Dear Diary, Unsent Letters, and Nonfiction forums.
Some of the writing here is taken from Xenith's old message boards that closed when I switched servers and started using new software for the boards at the end of 2001. The majority of the work in this issue is from Xenith's current boards, which have been running since early 2002. Credit is given to the authors by their board user name, with the exception of those whose real names I know.
Hopefully this issue will persuade some of you to check out the boards. I could use some colorful adjectives to explain the board experience, but I'll restrain myself. It's best experienced in person. Don't forget the full body armor.
