i’m finally going home. i will shave with my own razor and slap my face with imaginary talcum powder, because nobody buys any more talcum powder. what i meant to say is, no body buys talcum powder anymore. ramen cooked in milk tastes bad. i learned this at my apartment, while wasting a bowl of milk and one serving of ramen and one packet of chicken flavor.
i can’t cook very well and our food is cheap. i wonder if this is a part of my hidden curriculum, some postmodern excercize with food not tasting like itself (what is taste, after all?) i’m not going to be here anymore in a year. i mean, i’m still going to be here on this web site, but physically, my body will be miles and miles away. it’s amazing that phylacteries- small objects a wizard seals his soul inside- have been in our mythology for so long before the internet.
i miss being submerged in water. yesterday night everything stood sort of still for hours, the fan almost blowing, my back almost sweating, the sheets almost sticking. i miss hearing things second after second after they happen. while my girlfriend is at work i watch videos of people falling on youtube, where our internet connection is slow.
it’s funny how it took us so long, as a species, to come up with the idea of time travel.
maybe one day i’ll get a clean pair of nikes and run them ragged. the kind with jewelry in them and dalai lama habit laces, or just the plastic kind from a special store. on a hill there’s a city, and in that city there’s a footlocker, and in that footlocker there’s the plastic shoes i’m dying to buy. not for me, fuck nike, i don’t like blood on my shoes. for you. for all your help.
oh, god, i know the whole bummer about transactions being bad sex, i have seen that movie where arthur weasley rapes that lady. but man does not live on bread alone. not this man. i wonder when people will stop looking weird for a second when i say i’m a man. maybe when i watch that mike leigh movie again and self actualize into a killer whale.
this isn’t even about moustaches.
