“Kyrie”, “Hide and Seek”

By Jon H. Jones • May 9th, 2008 • Category: Music for the Genteel Savage

Stringy versions of a cappella songs I’ve known for years: “Kyrie” by Guillame de Machaut and “Hide and Seek” by Imogen Heap.

Jon H. Jones is braver than anybody thought, it would seem, especially himself: with no money and no job and no plans, he packed a suitcase and took a bus across the country. Las Vegas is more than he could have hoped for, and he plans to get under its skin and make it his home. He's one of those creative sorts, you know, a writer and photographer and so on, and he likes to live his life the same way--get struck by inspiration and have faith that if he keeps working at it, something amazing will happen. So far it always has. Life's funny that way.

  1. The string version of Hide and Seek is fantastic! There are whole new dimensions to it now.
