How do you envision Xenith ten years from now?

I actually sat down to think about this one, but mind you it’s 4/20 today. I thought about this summer, and Hannah and Austin and how during one of our mescaline trips I thought Austin–who’s really tall and skinny–was an Ent. Like from Lord of the Rings, you know? So now I’m picturing a Xenithtopia with all of us maybe sitting around a shop or cafe we own when suddenly a small army of redhaired Ents comes marching by.

And I start thinking, “Oh my god, they built a forest. And they’re on fire.”

What is the most unusual thing you own at this moment in time?

Well, I don’t own much because I sold it all, but I do have a man’s t-shirt in this gorgeous turquoise with the word “Ligers” on it in white script. I bought it for a buck from a thrift store so I can cut it up and reassemble it in a prettier way. Then it will definitely be my most unusual possession.

You’re locked a room with the Pope, Osama Bin Laden and Lee Harvey Oswald, and given a gun with one bullet: what’s your first move?

I’d give it to Lee. I’ll bet he only likes to shoot historical figures.

If your life was a book, what would the title of this chapter be?

I don’t know, but it’d be a musical book, like those greeting cards that sing when you open them, and each chapter would have a song. This chapter would be the theme from Indiana Jones. It’s much better than the Amy Grant chapter, even though I still do like to go walking through the forest with the birds above a-singing me a chorus.
